In a world that is constantly giving out information, it can often feel that more is less.
The connection to who we are and what we want is sometimes lost in this constant stream of everything around us that is asking for our attention.
Attention however doesn't necessarily has to equal reaction.
Most of us are finding ourselves responding without a real delay available in it.
Meaning, we are acting and reacting out of the first movement we feel.
When this first movement is pain, we tend to find ourselves in conflict, more then we like.
Let me give you an example.
Lets say that as a child is was bullied in school. This events created a specific lack of confidence in my system. Now that I am all grown up, I still carry this event with me.
When I now, as an adult, attempt to do something new, and the feedback I am getting is negative, this initial event will trigger me to respond out of my wound.
So where is my work? Get into the core wound of what happend that set my system in a state of alarm.
Once I know this, I can start to choose my reactions, instead of letting my emotions overtake me, and overtake the situation.
Now this is all easier said than done. Because knowing doesn't equal expansion in our consciousness. The much needed consciousness and self-awareness we need to get to this place where I can make choices out of a different place.
During this triggermapping class we are going to focus on 4 points.
1: The core wound.
We will dive through the identity construction to map out different situations that made you the way you are now.
2: The core issue.
Now that we have a clear idea of what happend we will crystallise what kind of effects this had, and is still having.
3: The behaviour.
Here we will look at our reactions, our conditioning, our habits, and we will introduce you to the guardians of your coping mechanismes.
4: The trigger mapping tool.
Once we have mapped all of this out we can get to the details of the triggers. What are they? Who are they? And how can you deal with these little and big shocks throughout your life.
